HELLO I’m Tanya Cabral

Originally from the San Francisco Bay Area, I moved to the Los Angeles area after college to pursue my career in the entertainment field. I am a freelance producer / line producer / production manager in live action production with over 20+ years on-set experience. My career covers commercials, promos, episodic television, documentaries, comedy festivals, feature films plus more. Thank you for taking the time to consider me for a position.

I became a member of the Producers Guild of America in 2018. In 2019, I was the Co-Chair of the Job Forum of the PGA Employment Committee West. In 2024 I joined the first I.A.T.S.E. Production Workers Guild 111 for AICP Commercial Production teams. It’s an honor to be apart of a new Union alongside other hardworking team members.

I'm looking to advance my career in television, both scripted and non-scripted, feature film, documentary plus continue in commercial live action production. My skills include logistics, working well under pressure, multi-tasking, working with a team or solo, maintaining relationships with crew and vendors all while maintaining professionalism and a sense of humor.

My vast experience has required that I travel domestically and internationally on various productions and I'm willing and hope to continue doing so. In 2024 I received my Italian Citizenship and I am able to work in the European Union. My Italian language level is at an A2 proficiency and I continue to work on improving everyday.

My work experience ranges from union and non-union productions both large and small. I can bid and manage your AICP project or cost track your Showbiz or MMB budget. When I produce, I work alongside the production company to work with the client & agency to fulfill the director’s vision. As a line producer or production manager, I can lead a team, negotiate with vendors for the best deals, process payroll, petty cash and purchase orders. I am a hard worker who will get the job done both in the office and on set within time and budget constraints with the utmost patience and quality helping to lock in logistics for a successful live action production.

In May 2025 I directed my first documentary for the Non-Profit, Operation Smile in Brazil. We were apart of the first Women in Medicine program in Brazil. Where we also had an all female documentary crew filming the experience.

When I’m not busy experiencing life, I fill my time as a home baker (sourdough bread lover), volunteering at the dog shelter, learning Italian, spending time with family and friends and just exploring the world through travel.

If you are interested in learning more about me or believe I would be an asset to your team, please do not hesitate to contact me at your earliest convenience. Thank you for your time and I look forward to hearing from you.

Warmest Regards,
Tanya Cabral
